"Hudson Valley" - Fall/Winter 26'

About two years ago, I moved from the city to the Hudson Valley.

It was quite a shock to the system. I went from very busy days to deafeningly quiet nights… and I truthfully, didn't know if I really wanted to stay. I kind of had to challenge myself to get involved with the community, and with that, I tapped in with the farmers in the area.

I started buying everything that I consumed from these farmers, and it sort of became an obsession. We all know that food is fuel… but this shit was different. It was great product… and great product can be healing to the mind, body and soul…. The farmers became friends and people that nourished me in more ways than one at a time when I really needed it. The way of life up here is very simple, and I love the fact that it's very simple. I grill almost every night on my back porch (through all seasons). I can hike, I can engage in some of the best fly fishing in the northeast and the mountains are 30 minutes away from the crib if I ever feel like skiing.

The best part is… I get to dip in and out of the city whenever I want that pace back.
